UA Student-Faculty Meals

Hi Undergrads!

Would you like to know your professors better? Show some appreciation to a helpful graduate TA?

This semester, the UA Education Committee is bringing back our student-faculty meal reimbursements program. If you and your friends would like to take a faculty member out for a coffee/a quick meal, we will reimburse up to $15 per person (including the faculty member), with a maximum of $100 per group! If you’d like an exception to the max amount, email us at ua-student-faculty-relations at mit.edu<mailto:ua-student-faculty-relations at mit.edu> and let us know why.

The reimbursements will be on a first come, first serve basis with 1 reimbursement allowed per student per semester. Please have one member of your group fill out this form<https://forms.gle/fZQcjcpwDZ43YbEeA> when you have set up a time with the faculty member. We will reach out soon after with confirmation on whether we will be able to fund the meal and additional logistics.

We will also be hosting student-faculty dinners (woohoo- a collaboration with UA Community & Diversity), so keep an eye out for an email about those events later in the semester!
