Last year we had 161 students participate and gave out 30+ LEADer badges to students who completed at least 8 of the 21 workshops over the last 2 weeks of IAP. This leadership conference is open to all current MIT undergraduate and graduate students. Over 50 students have RSVP’d so far and there’s still time to sign up.

From health care, to transportation, to social media, the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence across many fields has transformed the economic and social structures of people’s daily lives. In doing so, AI not only has impacted our society in unforeseen ways, but is altering how we experience reality. MBTA Free Rides Raffle
One of the many benefits of being in the Greater Boston Area is having the chance to explore all that the city has to offer. This semester, UA Public Affairs is beginning a pilot program and offering 20 students a free pass for a semester’s worth of MBTA rides. At the start of the Spring semester, students will be given preloaded t-passes that allow them to use buses, the T, and even the ferry! We also hope to gain insight into the potential use of public transportation and how further support from MIT or the MBTA in providing students free rides can improve the undergraduate experience.
