Hello Undergraduates,

We hope you are doing well and that you enjoyed the long weekend. Yu Jing and I are incredibly grateful and excited to have been re-elected as your 2021-2022 Undergraduate Association President and Vice President!

Once again, we are eager to begin building the UA leadership team for next year and are opening applications for the UA Officer Team<https://mit.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_d57XSkDBJen2WjA>, Election Commission<https://mit.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8e4xwAXHBhi8fX0> and Judicial Review Board<https://mit.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3aUethdwZpfOOUK>.  These applications will be due Friday, May 14th at 11:59 PM ET and interviews will take place over the weekend and the following week.

Our vision for MIT requires passionate leaders who are prepared to push the boundaries and challenge the status quo.

  *   UA Officer Team<http://ua.mit.edu/officers>: In addition to responsibilities specified for the respective roles, each officer will contribute to general policy initiatives designed by the team. Being on the Officer Team provides the unique opportunity to improve MIT through collaboration with other students, administration, faculty, and staff. The role specifications are open-ended by design. Create the rules and regulation for the major UA votes that will determine future UA and Class Council leaders.

  *   Judicial Review Board<http://ua.mit.edu/judicial-board>: Join our Supreme Court equivalent and help hold members of the UA accountable to the governing documents. Serving on the board is a great opportunity to get experience hearing cases and making rulings.
