*Student Rally Against Sexual Violence*
The GSC and IFC are gathering a group to go to the Student Rally Against
Sexual Violence in front of the Statehouse on April 10th to show support
for H.4159 and S.2203: https://www.facebook.com/events/810907702427695/
<http://mit.benchurl.com/c/l?u=7B93055&e=C9995A&c=BCBA2&t=0&email=euW8pQVPf07QNPIk%2BQ4Xo6BanR218rId&seq=1>
H.4159 requires every Massachusetts college and university to administer an
anonymous sexual assault climate surveys to their students. S.2203 ensures
that the sexual assault reporting and response requirements set by the
Obama administration not only stay in place, but are made stronger than
ever before.
Join us at the Massachusetts Statehouse next Tuesday in support of these
bills!

Everett, a polyglot academic and renowned linguistics researcher, used to
be a missionary. He went to preach to the Piraha of the Amazon Basin. His
interactions with the Piraha left him with doubts about his Christian
faith. He eventually discarded it altogether, but he kept this to himself;
after more than 25 years as a missionary and ordained minister, coming out
as an open atheist meant risking his relationship with his family. He will
tell his story at Episode 5 of the Secular Society of MIT's Out And Out
series. Free refreshments, audience Q&A after discussion. Free entry.
