Vision of MIT Essay Contest

tl;dr: Get you voice heard, write your vision for the future of MIT!


One of the main purposes of UA CPC is to compile and share student opinions about what is great about MIT campus (and what isn’t so great too). CPC wants to capture the undergraduate student vision for the future of MIT, so that student leaders, faculty members, and administrators when making important decisions can consider it. 

We at CPC have heard your frustrations about feeling left out of the major decisions about the future of life on MIT campus. This is your chance to get your voice heard! This prompt is purposefully very open. We want to give you the freedom to share your opinions on the issues that matter to you.

Illustrate your vision for what an undergraduate will experience on MIT campus in 10 years. Tell us how your vision addresses the problems we face as a community today (explain how your solution is more sustainable, inclusive, innovative, and effective).

The visionaries behind the top 3 responses will receive a $20 Amazon Gift Card and be featured on UA CPC’s website. 

ALL responses will be published in the UA-CPC Report to be submitted to the Office of Campus Planning. 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 24th

Submissions will be judged based on creativity of concept, potential for impact on student life, and clarity of communication by:
