[UA] Ad Hoc Group on the Future of Research Libraries Application

Undergraduates,

An opportunity has arisen to become one of two undergraduate members on a
new institute-wide ad hoc group. To apply, click here

The central question the group will be tasked to answer is “How should the
MIT Libraries evolve to best advance the creation, dissemination, and
preservation of knowledge; and to serve as a  leader in the reinvention of
research libraries?” The group is expected to run through the academic year
and will source broad input from the MIT community. This will include
convening campus conversations, performing “bench marking” with peers in
libraries and related domains, and engaging in some trend forecasting. You
are encouraged to apply even if you have not previously worked on a
committee.

All applications submitted before *this Friday, September 4 at 11:59 pm*
will be considered, after which the application form will be closed. After
initial application review, select undergraduates will have interviews with
the nominations board. If you have any questions about this process, please
