>From receiving a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning from the MIT
School of Architecture and Planning in 1957, to serving as Director of
Planning at MIT from 1960-2000, to teaching a seminar about the challenges
of building a successful learning community while using MIT as a prime
example, Professor O. Robert Simha has shown himself to be an important and
influential voice in the expanding and evolving MIT Campus.

As Director of Planning, he doubled the square footage of MIT and expanded
the Kendall Square and Technology Square areas around campus. His work laid
the foundation for MIT's reputation today as a center, not just for
education and research, but technological growth and corporate development.

Come listen to one of MIT's most qualified and experienced speakers in the
world of planning talk about his own views and how they relate to his role
as a planner.
