Dear Undergraduates:

I write to let you know about an exciting opportunity to serve on the
Chancellor Search Cabinet.

*The main goal of the cabinet *is to identify qualities and characteristics
students are seeking from the next Chancellor, and provide that feedback to
President Reif.

* This cabinet will *not* participate in the official selection process,
but rather provide student input and make recommendations to President Reif.

*Outcome:*
Produce a report, and/or a list of qualities and recommendations by the end
of November.

*Meetings:*
1. Team meetings:* November 14, 21, and 26, 7-9pm. (6 hours total)*
2. Meeting with President Reif on December 2nd.

* You will be working in a team of 8 students, selected through the UA and
the GSC nominations process. There will be four undergraduate students and
four graduate students.

*Tasks* may include, and are not limited to (to be determined by the
selected team):
1. Publicize the search and gather student inputs through outreach, survey,
focus groups and/or other creative activities.
2. Solicit student feedback, collect suggestions, make recommendations by
writing a report/list and meet with the MIT President.
