September 30th: Installation of First Chaplain to the Institute

Dear Undergraduates:

On Sunday, September 30th, MIT will install Dr. Robert M. Randolph as its
first Chaplain to the Institute.  The ceremony will take place at 5:30pm in
Kresge Auditorium.

President Hockfield and leaders of many religious traditions will speak at
the installation, which will feature performances by Techiya and the MIT
Gospel Choir.

As Chaplain to the Institute, Dr. Randolph will work to foster interfaith
dialogue and increase awareness of the history and role of world religions.
