*
On Monday, April 4, 2004, the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) to the
Task Force released its Preliminary Report to the MIT community. The
report provides input on four aspects of the undergraduate academic
experience:

    * /Advising /
    * /HASS Requirement /
    * /Communication Requirement /
    * /Science Core /

To download a copy of the report, visit the website:

The report represents the thoughts, opinions, ideas, and compromises of
the
<http://web.mit.edu/committees/edcommons/students/sacmems.html>ten-member
student group. As our next step in informing the Task Force, we will
update the report to better reflect the opinions of the larger student
body. It is essential for you to give us your feedback and share your
ideas on how to improve the undergraduate experience at MIT. Here's how:

   1. Share your thoughts on our discussion board:
      http://amps-tools.mit.edu/uec/public/
   2. Attend the community forum on *Wednesday, April 13 from 7pm - 9pm*
      in Room 4-163
   3. Invite the SAC to a meeting of your living group or student
      activity -- Dinner is on us! Email your group's name and suggested
      meeting dates to mccomber at mit.edu <mailto:mccomber at mit.edu>.
   4. Send us an email at edcomm-sac at mit.edu <mailto:edcomm-sac at mit.edu>
