food and study advice as you gear up FOR FINALS.

2. Spring Weekend 2005
----------------------
VOLUNTEERS WANTED:
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN SELECTING MUSICAL PERFORMERS AND PLANNING FOR
THIS YEAR'S SPRING WEEKEND?
Spring Weekend is an annual event at MIT that happens in late April.
This year it will take place from April 21st - 24th, 2005. Past events
have included an International Fair, a campus-wide concert, and a
campus-wide carnival on Kresge Oval. The Spring Weekend Committee is
made up of student representatives from various campus constituencies
appointed by the UA and GSC. The Spring Weekend 2005 Committee is
advised by Shawna Cooper-Gibson, Program Coordinator for Student
Activities. Please contact her in W20-549, x3-5369 if you have any
questions.
There are several open positions on the committee, and we are always
looking for volunteers to assist with this weekend.

3. Student Leader Awards

Nominate Student Leaders and Clubs for Awards Ceremony!
Nominations now be accepted for outstanding work by student leaders and
student this Fall. There are over two dozen categories from best
performing arts event to outstanding graduate and undergraduate student
leaders. Nominations will be accepted now through the Spring semester
leading up to the Student Leader Awards Ceremony on Friday the 13th of
May, 2005.
