[Tango-L] Pugliese, sound

I would like to support Keith's comments. P 40's is a must. Later music can be very hard to dance to for novices, but never stops challenging experienced (good) dancers. Commentators on this list used to say play it late, after people are warmed up with rhythmic music, and then sparingly. It is still good advice. I like to play it mid-milonga right after a really rhythmic Di Sarli. Too early and the dancers go everywhere; too late drives them home.

With respect, you guys have been around Tango a long time. Maybe you should consider getting some professionally mastered DJ quality music for the pleasure of and out of respect for your community. Keith gently touched on the point, but really, your music is make or break. I get really disappointed (read, leave early) with badly recorded music. There is just no excuse any more.
Best wishes,
John

Hi all,

Just of couple of observations & questions.?

Since I have various sound levels of my music, I was considering running them through a program to level out the sound.? My Media Monkey can do it, ..................? I'd like to find a better solution.? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Trini de Pittsburgh
