I returned last week from B.A. Among some milongas I attended such as
Gricel, Canning, El Beso, Nino Bien, Cachirulo (Sat. night),  Maipu 444
(Sun. night) Confeteria Ideal etc., I noticed that the cabaceo was used
about 95% of the time. Some places were very bright, others dimly lit. The
cabaceo was used  whether the place was bright or dim and for tourists and
portenas/os.
