Hello Chris,

are you saying you know many dancers who don´t struggle with their 
patterns, or are you saying you know dancers who don´t have them? I´m 
not trying to be clever here.

Andreas, I'd be interested to hear what has lead you to this conclusion.

Because if I understand your meaning of "patterns", my experience shows 
it
to be untrue. I know many dancers that do not struggle with such 
patterns.
