[Tango-L] bad, wrong, Nuevo

Perhaps not worth getting into, but: 
I just wanted to point out that the post comparing traditional vs. nuevo to conservative vs. liberal wasn't necessarily intended to be derogatory. I didn't read it as such. As far as I can tell, it's only derogatory if calling something "conservative" is an insult. I realize that many tango dancers (including me) fall on the liberal/democrat side of the *political* spectrum, but does that really make the term conservative insulting in this context? It seems like there can be value both in conserving something worthwhile (such as culture/tradition in argentine tango) and in trying to improve something through innovation. One is not necessarily better than the other. . . it all depends on your point of view and what you consider to be important.
