Janis, you and Timmy have confirmed what I have
learned from several other past renters' of these
apts. The pollution and noise is unnecessary, as there
are plentiful apts. to rent that face the back of the
building in central Buenos Aires. 
More troublesome, however, are the problems with the
landlady, which I will not go into publicly in this
forum, either. Anyone, needing details or a shoulder
to cry on, can write me personally.
