Four couples dance to the strains of “La Cumparsita” (QuinTango) in a
commercial filmed in Washington DC this summer. The commercial, which
exploits "Tango" to 'highlight partnerships between some personal injury
lawyers and "expert" witnesses who manufacture junk science to promote
questionable lawsuits', not mine), begins “It takes two to tango and some
personal injury lawyers know that too.” Acting out this theme, the couples
one a lawyer, the other a scientist tango and grin smugly at each other
as they ponder ripping off US Corporations. The 30 second commercial ends
with a couple separating as the narrator demands: “Let’s stop the junk
science tango.”
Five Washington - Baltimore tangueros can be seen in the commercial: Pablo
“Not Qualified” Fontana and his wife, Flavia, Jake (Sleazy Lawyer) Spatz in
full-facial nudity, Irwin “Junk Scientist” Singer and Karen (Sleazy Lawyer)
Frances. You can see the commercial at

TV set near you.
