  The start of the thread was about men-hounding females, which any self-respecting man should avoid like the pest...
  
  On the other hand, no self-respecting man shall accept having any woman  humiliated by sitting by herself * all night long, without trying to  invite her to dance.
  It is not a matter of pity, but of manly courtesy. 
  
  Regarding beginners: those who avoid dancing with them are stupid,  ignorant people, for it should be such a pleasure to dance with  them,  to introduce, and share with them the beauty of Tango...
