[Tango-L] the states in summer

Hello all,

we've got in mind to travel to New York and/or the east coast in 
July/August. Can you tell me, if there are any Tango-Festivals at this 
time of the year? Or are the Milongas also empty in summer , like 
everywhere else?

If the Milongas in the east are empty in summer, how about the west 
cost... San Francisco? L.A.?


And: Does someone have an idea concerning accomodation which is not too 
expensive?
