[Tango-L] improvisation vs inspiration

I have hardly heard the word improvisation in tango dance until 6 years ago
I run across to tango performances said to be done totally improvised.
However, subsequently I heard and had seen the word inspiration used by
dancers and most recently on a painting referring to inspiration as the
driving force creating new steps or figures out of the ordinary. Inspiration
appears to have a deeper meaning, at least in Spanish.

Browsing the internet I find a quote from the Dictionary of the Real
Academia de la Lengua Espanola (RAE). It says, the word inspiración
(inspiration) means: The effect under which the writer, speaker, or artist
are able to produce spontaneously and without much effort.

The key word behind inspiration is creative thought and being able to turn
it on as necessary. What inspire us to create new movements at will, and
what is preventing us from achieving this.

Cheers,

Bruno
