Toronto Tango Festival starts this Thursday, June 11-14, 2009.

If you have already registered, please pick up your festival passes at the
Lithuanian Hall when you arrive for your first milonga or workshop.

Any last minute transactions at the door will be CASH ONLY.

We are pleased to announce that at the Grand Ball Milonga on Saturday night
we will have a draw for a free trip for two to Laurentian Mountains resort
in Quebec, courtesy of Geo Holidays.

It is 3 day 2 night trip for two to the Laurentian Mountains in Montreal
Quebec with meals included. Nestled in the magnificent Laurentian Mountains,
overlooking scenic Lac Morency, this quaint resort combines the rustic charm
of a log cabin with all the modern conveniences of a hotel. This is truly an
all-season destination where vacationers enjoy skiing in the winter, and
water sports in the summer. At the resort you can rent snowmobiles in the
winter & ATV (all -terrain vehicles) all year round. Close to the resort
you’ll find sleigh rides, excellent nordic and alpine skiing, ice skating
and fishing. In warmer months you can paddle a canoe, hike or fish from the
resort’s lakeside location. Golf can be enjoyed nearby as well. St. Sauveur,
only 12 miles from the resort, is known for its many European-style
boutiques and restaurants. Along Rue Principale you’ll be surrounded by
shops, fashion boutiques, outdoor cafes and terraces decorated with bright
awnings and flowers. Dishes such as tourtieres, onion soup and apple pie
grace many of the local menus. On a day trip to Montreal travelers can
explore the Olympic Stadium, the botanical garden, the amusement park
complex on Ile St. Helene and the Montreal Casino.

During the Festival we will be selling Toronto Tango Festival T-Shirts for
ladies and men and original Comme Il Faut Tango shoes.

See you this weekend!
