Subject: Tang Hall Fire Alarm Testing



Dear Tang Hall Residents,

As part of the 24th floor renovation project, MIT Fire Protection is required to conduct additional brief, live audible tests of the Tang Hall fire system during the week of August 4-7, 2015.


  *   On Tuesday, August 4, and Wednesday, August 5, the live test will be conducted  2:00 pm.
  *   On Thursday, August 6, and Friday, August 7, a minimum of 3 live tests will be conducted between 2:00pm & 3:00 pm.

These tests are required by the City of Cambridge and necessary to ensure that the new fire alarm on the 24th floor  is responding to the alarm system properly.  Although you will be able to hear the alarm, you will not need to evacuate the building during these tests.
