[Tang-Residents] [Tang Residents] Gardening Pre-registration, Tang-reuse Mailing List & Recycling

Dear Tang Residents,

This is Qifang Bao, the Gardening & Recycling Chair of the Tang Hall Residents Association. Please allow me to welcome all the new residents of Tang as well as greet our old friends.

Here I would like to pass along some information about Tang you may be interested in:

1. Gardening Pre-registration
As you may notice, the gardening area in front of Tang (right beside the Tech shuttle station) is flouring as the season of harvest comes. Westgate residents are taking care of the garden this year, but we may be able to share this area with them in the future. If you would like to work in the garden next spring and harvest your own flowers/fruits/vegetables next fall, please sign up in the flowing link:

2. Reuse Email List
There is a Tang reuse mailing list for our inner use to exchange information about selling/giving away items you don't need: tang-reuse at mit.edu<mailto:tang-reuse-free at mit.edu>.

3. Recycling
We strongly encourage recycling in Tang. You can bring cardboard boxes, plastic bags and other items that are recyclable down to the ground floor and put them in the recycling bins outside the back door of the dorm.
Please notice that there will not be any cleaning staff collecting recyclable items from each apartment, so please do not leave the items in the corridor of each floor.
