[Tang-Residents] Tang policies regarding recycling and trash disposal

Hello all,

We have been noticing a few instances of improper waste disposal in and around Tang, and so here is a reminder about our policies:

DOs

1. Dispose of wet trash in sealed bags, through the trash chute on each floor. These chutes are in front of apartments E and F.
2. Put recyclable materials in the bins outside Tang, on the rear side.
3. Put empty plastic bags in the bin outside the house manager's office on the first floor.

DON'Ts

1. Leave boxes, appliances or utensils in front of the elevators.
2. Put your trash or recyclables in the common trash bins on the first floor.

Please remember that while these areas are public spaces, as residents of this dorm, they are also a part of your home. You have the right to use the common spaces for your enjoyment, but also a duty to keep them in sanitary condition. Let's walk a couple of steps more to the recycling bins, for everyone's benefit!
