[Tang-residents] Heating system repairs to start

Hello
I have been informed there will be some heating repairs done in Tang Hall.

The rooms mentioned below  will be effected. Workers will need to enter the all  bedrooms of  B1 and E1,  floors 23 down through 2.  All bedrooms of B3 B4 E3 and E4 as well.  The radiator covers will be taken off in all the B1 and E1 bedrooms and new expansion joints will be installed replacing the older ones that usually cause the problems in the wintertime, sousing the heat to be shut down in the entire building.

In the bedrooms of all B3 and B4 as well as all E3 and E4 will have new shut off vales installed in the corner columns where there is a access panel.
A larger access will be installed and shut offs will be installed at the same time.

I will have a Housing  staff available to allow access and move things for Facilities  to make the repairs. The will start on the 23rd floor and work down. The stock is now being ordered and this project may start as early as next week. I will follow up with another email as soon as the stock arrives and when they will start.


I will make sure everything is cleaned up before locking the doors.
Again, if you live in a B1 B3 B4 E1 E3 and E4 work will be done in your bedroom.
