Hey Snowriders,
I hope everyone had a good end of term and is enjoying life without
without classes. The last thing that might be on your mind at this
moment is snowsports, but it is time to put together the team for
Snowriders next year. If you're interested in being an officer for the
club next season, check out the position descriptions below, and reply
to sr-officers at mit.edu. The officers will be meeting tomorrow to talk to
some people who expressed an interest already. I know it's short notice
so if you can't meet tomorrow that's fine, please we'll arrange another
meeting soon to talk to the rest of you. Please reply by next Tuesday,
May 31, by 5:00pm. We'll be having a social sometime soon which will
include elections.
Please be aware that we are, foremost, a graduate student organization.
We welcome interest from those of you that are not graduate students, >
but it will be a requirement for some of the positions: President, Vice
president, GSC Coordinator. Also, if you have interest in being a bus
monitor, which is not an officer position, but is something that we
could use some help on, please let us know as well. If you think you
might be interested in an officer position, but don't want to make the
commitment this year, being a bus monitor is a great way to get more
involved in the club.
Thanks!
Your (current) snowriders officers.
