Please note that MIT's Department of Physics will hold its inaugural  
colloquium on "Physics in the Interest of Society" on Thursday, 3  
November, at 4:15pm in room 10-250. The speaker will be Richard  
Garwin, well-known physicist and arms-control specialist. Details below.
