[David Mindell]

Dear STS community,

 

It gives us great pleasure to announce that today the Executive Committee of
the MIT Corporation approved the promotion of Professor David Jones to
Associate Professor with Tenure. 

 

David's work is in the history of medicine, bringing a unique combination of
historical and STS methods to critical problems.

 

David has contributed significantly to the STS community through his
dedication to teaching, advising, and department service.
