The Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences Working Group welcomes *Janet 
Browne* on Friday, Dec. 1, 12-2 p.m.. Science Center, rm 252.
Professor Browne is the newly appointed Aramont Professor of the History 
of Science, and will speaking to us about current topics in the history 
of biology.  Please join us in welcoming Professor Browne to the 
Cambridge, MA history of science community. 
Lunch will be served.  Please RSVP to Ellen Guarente,

And save the date for our last meeting for 2006:  on Dec. 15, 2006, we 
welcome Victoria Cain, AAAS, who will speak on  "Preparation Ache: 
Exhibits, Exhibit-Makers and the Contest for Status in American Natural
