Claudia Castaneda is a Visiting Professor in Women, Gender and Sexuality
Studies at Havard University. She received her PhD in 1997 from the
History of Consciousness Board of Studies at University of California,
Santa Cruz. She is the author of Figurations: Child, Bodies, Worlds, and
her research interests ar located at the intersection of feminism, STS,
and transnational/post-colonial studies.
In order to make this as effective an interdisciplinary workshop as
possible, please RSVP to Anne Pollock <apollock at mit.edu> and include this
info for her to give our guest in advance:
1. a brief description of your current research, including where
applicable, its relation to technology
2. your working definition of "technology" (even if you don't use the
term in your work)
