Thanks for the reply.  I did manage to sort it out.



In my enhanced version of SELFITEM I had an old definition of a variable which I have now updated.



Variable documenttitle used to be

data: documenttitle type sodocchgi1-obj_descr.

And had to be changed to

data: documenttitle type string.

Hi Margaret

Raise a SAP Message please. Priority High. If they've introduced an incompatible change on such a widely used BOR object you need a formal fix.

Also check SOST with all statuses and see if the emails are generated but stuck

   Workflow tasks that use self item remain in process and do not complete.



   Does anybody know what to do with this BOR Object and the new event so as to make the method sendtaskdescription complete.
