Comments Box on the UWL

Hi Colm
If these are User Decision steps quickest option is to use UWL Decision with Note option
Go to uwl admin iview
In the manage item types section
Find the generated xml for your system alias & download it (grab the dtd as well- its a handy reference)
Rename it to your own custom file name eg something uwl.ourcompany.weblow.systemalias

This is a delta file so strip out all the Itemtype tags for everything except the tasks you want to change

Add the extra subtags to the Itemtype tags you want to change. Use an xml editor to save grief.

Upload your custom file
Clear the uwl cache
Then check the inbox and make sure it worked - if not try changing the itemtype name slightly eg uwl.ourdecision.Ts9999999 etc

Easy enough - its about a 30minute job for someone who has done this before

Suggest changing just one task to start with and create a fresh work item to test it after each file change to avoid confusion over caching behaviours
