Hello Baba,
There are two types of SAP Workflow Substitution - Active and Passive.
Active substitution is similar to auto-forwarding.
You should try Passive substitution which requires the substitute to
explicitly choose to see the original agent's work items.

Not sure if this is how workflow substition works or I am missing something. Please advise.
User A substitutes for B for period 03/22 thru 03/25.
On 03/23 workflow finds agent A as approver for a task and delivers task to agent B as he is
substitute.
Agent B, takes NO action on the task.
On 03/25, workflow substitution exprires.
On 03/26, task still appearing in Agent B's inbox whereas I was expecting it to appear in agent
A's inbox as substitution expired.
