Dynamic Columns in Business Workplace

Can you elaborate as to how I can determine if the task container hold the work center as an element? When I go to the container, I can see the different release levels we have in place and the corresponding work center for that release level. However, I'm not exactly sure how to make that into a dynamic column.

Hi Monique,
This is possible assuming your task container holds the work center as an element. In case it doesn't, make sure to add it.
Have a look at t.code SWL1. Then make sure to add the column in business workplace layout - it does not appear as default...

Good luck

We have a requirement that I'm thinking dynamic columns can help with but I'm not really too sure.

Many of our approvers are in multiple work centers (ie Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Grants, etc.). When they go into their workflow inbox, all of the documents are visible. The approvers would like to have a way to determine which work center the document is actually in without having to open the document. I would like to add a column to the business workplace for this purpose. We are looking at some new workflow processes and users that are currently in the Accounts Payable work center may see these new documents as well. It would be helpful to them to be able to separate out the documents by this work center so it does not get too confusing and cluttered.

Can anyone let me know if this is possible and how I would go about doing this?
