Check funtion module exceptions triggering short dumps

Hi.
My mistake - it was actually a receiver function module, and I had
exceptions being raised, which I now realise was a very bad thing. I
changed the code to bypass the errors, rather than raise exceptions, and it
is now working fine.
Regards,
Brenda.

Hi Brena,
It should not create a short dump. Can you please add the short dump txt
file?

Hi all,
Adding columns to UWL usually worked for me correctly by adjusting the XML
(as described in Darren manual). Now I'm struggling adding a column for the
task name. In the standard system, every workitem contains element _WORKITEM
of BOR type WORKINGWI and its attribute "TaskText" contains the desired
data. Still, when I add this to the XML file, the column appears in UWL but
there's no content. A workaround would be creating a custom element in each
task and reading it into the UWL but that means I have to manually do it in
each task, which I prefer to avoid.
?
Anyone familiar with adding UWL column based _WORKITEM.TASKTEXT?
?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,

Hi.
I'm not sure if this has happened on any of my previous installations, or
whether this always happens, so please forgive me if I am asking a stupid
question.
I have created a check function module and it raises exceptions to prevent
the event from triggering the workflow. I now see that the exception also
generates a short dump in the system. Is this normal, and if not, does
anyone know how I can stop this from happening. As you can imagine, the
basis guys are jumping up and down about this!
Regards,
Brenda.
