BUS2089 Object locked

Hi all

Quick question, i am developing a workflow for a TRIP expense approval.

The approval task is based on the SAP standard method for background 
approval. This has a couple of exceptions to capture if the object is 
locked, when the background approval method runs.

What is the mechanism (scheduled job name ?) for the workflow to keep 
revisiting this task waiting for the lock to go, and after a period of 
time or number of repeated attempts, go into error, or take an alternative 
path?
