ABAP Objects vs. BOR to trigger event? (Thanks Mike(s), Jocelyn, ... ANSWERED closed)

What I have works for now. I ordered the book, waiting.

I created this object based on Jocelyn's ZCL_PLANT object from one of her PDFs / blogs. (Thanks JD)

VNSG_WF_Tip_200703_abapoo.pdf or SDN. I have several PDFs squirreled away and tutorials etc. Just little intimidating getting started from scratch with no formal stuff except internet.

Thanks much (to all of you that help me), I am off to the races...
Rick
