Hi Jocelyn,

Sorry should have mentioned that I am using SBWP inbox.

Thanks for the confirmation that its not easily do-able with SBWP inbox. I reckon my question is definitely answered. Thanks to All!

Regards
Inder

Hi Inder,
If you are using the UWL inbox you can use UWL XML configuration alongside a task expression id for this ... i.e. have a number of identical user decision tasks, which task is actually used for the user decision is determined in a previous step in your loop and entered in the task expression field of the workflow step, then use the UWL XML config to override the decision texts based on the actual task id.

But I can't see a way you would do this with the standard SBWP inbox other than maybe doing something with work item exits or programming exits ... awkward for a newbie.
Regards,
Jocelyn

Hi Rick,

Thanks mate.
Actually, its none of the two. I am sorry, should have been more specific in my original question.

I am talking about the text that appears on the (extremely long) workitem buttons of the user decision step. So the button captions.

But after reading your's, Mike's & Edward's response it seems like what I am asking is not possible at this stage

Inder

Hello,

Welcome to SAP-WUG!

When you say "Decision texts" do you mean the text that is displayed
in a workitem of a User Decision step?
Or do you mean the header text - i.e. what the user will see as one
line in the UWL?

If the former then yes, you can do what you want. You can build in
conditions in the SapScript of the task description.

If the latter then you'll just have to make use of a container element
that you fill beforehand in a previous step.

Let me know if I've misunderstood.
