GOS (was: SAP-WUG Digest, Vol 72, Issue 51)

(Renamed title to something more meaningful)

There's no need to store the entire original in GOS (Generic Object
Services). For example, some of the SAP-delivered archiving solutions will
attach a GOS attachment consiting of a BOR object of type IMAGE, which is
simply a link to the content repository, wherever that may be. Opening the
'attachment' loads the image from the repository.

It's entirely possible to build a similar setup for almost any repository
objects. Have a look through the ArchiveLink doco.

Cheers,
Mike
