Dear WUG,

We have an intermittent problem with UWL where users click on workitem
attachments
(in this case, an Adobe form), and the wrong Adobe form is displayed.

Two different users can click the same link on the *same* workitem, and
view
two different Adobe forms!

I checked the workflow in the backend and everything is fine. The workitem
container
has the element 'Return_ID' with the correct value (the GUID of the Adobe
form
that is to be approved).

SWFVISU has the following setting:
APPLICATION	FMCA_WDY_RETURN
DYNPARAM	WDCONFIGURATIONID=ZFMCA_WDY_RET_CONF&RETURN_ID=$
{item.Return_ID}
NAMESPACE	sap

So the problem seems to be that UWL is reading the Return_ID from the wrong
workitem!
I suspect a corrupt cache - perhaps a local cache? We refresh the cache
continually, but the problem returns within minutes.

Has anyone been able to work out why the UWL is so, uh, labile? The users
are complaining
that SAP workflow is 'flaky'; it's hard to explain that it's actually a UWL
issue....

Can anyone explain the architecture of UWL to me?

thanks
Paul
