Nash,
There seems to be an error in your webdynpro - it is trying to use a
field symbol (i.e. pointer) that has not yet been assigned.
It's probably not a workflow error at all... It's no wonder that the
workflow event is not generated, if the saving process dumps.
Have a closer look at the 'Source Code' section of your ST22 dump to see
where the bug is. (Assuming that it shows the source code - or is that a
Java Web Dynpro?)
If it's all done in standard SAP, maybe also check OSS for any known bugs.
cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,
Thanks for responding. I will try to give more information. Also please see
attached screen shot of error message.
What version ? - We are on ECC 6 , EP 7.0
When does this error occur ? - Error is generated during enrollment process
of an employee into a health plan(Created/Changed). As a final step of
enrollment, employee has to press 'Save' button(Submit). Clicking on the
button generate runtime error.(attachment)
Error is preventing the generation of workflow events.
I have not written any custom coding. So don't know what is causing the
issue. I used same approach(all steps above) infotype 006 and is working
fine. But infotype 167 and 168 failing
Let me know if you need more information. Thanks a lot.

Nash,
Sorry, there is simply not enough information here for anyone to help
you.
GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED is a generic error that indicates that a working area
was not filled.
What version are you on? When does this error occur - when you create the
event, when the workflow starts, or when you try to send the email?
Have you looked at the shortdump in ST22?
good luck
Paul

Delegated.
Step 2 : SWEHR1. – Made following .
type : P , Info type : 0167 , Object Type : BUS3029
Step 3: SWEHR3
Object type : P , Infotype : 0167 , Update op : INS , Event
object type : BUS302901 and event : CREATED.
Step 4: Create a custom workflow and Liked event CREATED to it.
It would really appreciate if you could help me out
Thanks
