Make UWL Attachments Invisible

Jeff,
For the business object changes you made in transaction...

You have to press the "Re-Register" button in the UWL Admin iview and clear the UWL cache (also from the UWL Admin iview) for the relevant System Alias before your changes in transaction SWFVISU will take effect. This applies to all changes made with SWFVISU.

The solution described will hide the automatically attached object.

If ,however, you want to hide the "Manage Attachments" and "Add Memo" features in the UWL for certain tasks then you need to create a UWL configuration file for those tasks using the ItemType tag.

For HCM P&F you can copy the provided HRAdmin file to get the idea.
Copy the full action tag for the relevant button from the uwl.standard file into the Actions tag section of the relevant ItemType tag and add/change the property "display_order_priority" to the value "uwlExcludeFromPreviewDetail".

Upload the file with a higher priority than the standard HRAdmin file and clear the cache.

Easy when you know how.
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Jocelyn

Shai,

I am looking to hide the BO/Class that is associated with the
Task since Users can not click on it without gettin gthe error
message & we don't intend to give them the auth to view in
backend. Should the Priority have any effect if the attachment
object config was just configured through SWFVISU & not manually
added to any higher priority file? Do you know the code generated
so I could do a search to see if it was even written to the file?
