Shai,

At this time I am just looking to hide the Objects coming from the WF/Task, do you know XML code that is entered with this config & this way I'll do a search on which XML file it was written to to see what it's priority is?

Thanx,

Jeff,
The solution you described below affects the visibilty of the business object within the attachment. It will not affect all kinds of attachment, for example XLS or PDF.
If your intention is to remove the business objects, then applying the solution below should work. Just make sure your generated XML file gets the higher priority.
If you wish to remove all kind of attachments completely, you can do that through the UWL iView customization within the PCD.

Good luck.

Fellow WUG'ers,

Have a question concerning the viewing of the Attachments in the UWL. We need to hide it for most HCM F&P Tasks, where it must be viewable for the E-Learning Tasks. I read a handful of the SDN info out there & this was the closest one to what I'm looking for.

Attached Business Objects

You can hide attached business objects in UWL work
items or even replace the standard attachment call with
your own application using the Object Visualization section
of transaction SWFVISU. Leaving the Method Name
blank and setting the Visualization Type to Object Not
Represented will hide the attachment completely.
Any other visualization type means that the
attachment will link to the specified application rather
than the default method for that object, for example, to
a Web Dynpro application that gives a summary of the
requested absence.

I tried putting in the overall "Object Visualization" the Object Class with No Method & "NONE" as the Visual Type as below, but no avail.

I looked at the "Visualization Parameter", but wasn't sure what would be entered.

I went to a specific Task in the "Task Visualization" to enter Parameters there but I receive the below "Work Area: Entry" screen, but get a "No entries found that match selection criteria" message.

And just in case you're going to ask, yes I did Re-Register & Clear Cache each time. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
