SUBSTITUTION ?

Hi,

If you define a Substitute and then activate that Substitute, then this is
ACTIVE SUBSTITUTION  -  Your work items are automatically forwarded to the
substitute for the duration of the substitution. The substitute is then
able to view and process both their own and your work items.

If you define a Substitute but do not activate that Substitute, then this
is PASSIVE SUBSTITUTION  -  The substitute needs to ADOPT SUBSTITUTION to
be able to process your work items.  Which work items the substitute is
able to view depends on the setting Also Display Work Items of Adopted
Substitutions on the Customizing tab page.

Please you can review SAP Notes 547419 and 74000, and the SAP Library > SAP
Business Workflow > Business Workplace > Substitution.

Hi experts,

I am having confusion in Substitution part.

I need the steps for Active Substitution and the Passive Substitution.

What i understand is ADOPT SUBSTITUTION is nothing but PASSIVE
SUBSTITUTION.

Maintain Substitution is ACTIVE SUBSTITUTION...

Please guide me if i am wrong
