UWL / ITS shortdumps on decision tasks

Good oh! Just remember if you create new tasks you need to re-register the system alias in the UWL admin to pick up the task.
Otherwise yes it will go to default.

  We had a look at the UWL XML config files, and the config for this task
was inexplicably missing. So I can only
assume that it was using BWWF_WI_DECI by default.

So that's probably the solution. Thanks for the quick reply!

You should not be calling BWWF_WI_DECI at all...

If it's generating that referenced in your UWL XML config files, check your
JCO Connections <systemalias>$WebFlowConnector are still working,

And check that the UWL XML config is correct - if the task is pointing to
BWWF_WI_DECI then you need to re-register the system and make sure it
regenerates the itemtype as
Uwl.task.webflow.decision.TS<tasknumber>

The proper thing should be a 2 line entry.
You should have plenty of examples of the correct format in some of your
other UWL XML config files.

If this is in a custom UWL XML config you need to make sure you start by
copying in the correct two line entry and then expand it - again you should
have many examples of this.

If this is for OSR, please go talk to Steve who has the correct versions of
all the UWL XML files.

Remember that if you add new tasks you must re-register the system alias in
the UWL admin.

Hello WUG community,

In ECC6.0 we have had a few cases recently where simple decision tasks are
shortdumping when executed from the UWL.
Has anyone else seen this? I saw that this issue was also reported in SDN
in December, but no solution was found.
There's nothing in OSS.

The decision task is based on method DECISION.PROCESS. When the user
executes it, it occasionally
dumps with the following message:

      The ITS service "BWWF_WI_DECI" had to be terminated because the Web
AS has sent
      the following error message:

      Error message: " Transaction CONT is unknown"
      Message type: "E"

As usual, if I process the workitems through the backend, they work fine!
