Version Management in Workflow development

Hi Experts,

Since many days I have a doubt regarding version management in Workflow.Can
we create multiple versions in development server same like what we have the
version management in reports and function modules.I did search in google
and sdn but did not got any relevant information.Can some one help me out
regarding this.Thanks in advance.
