Hi Ramki,
Yes lots of limitations in 6.20. Functionality only officially released in 6.40.
My blogs on SDN mention some differences ... static methods work ok in 6.20.

The other problem is something entirely different ... sounds like someone has changed the global settings.
Work through the SAP Easy Access menu... there's a bunch of global settings for workflow in the Workflow Administration menu - I think it's one of the very first transactions in the workflow administrator folder.

Regards,
Jocelyn

Subject: ABAP-OO & Decision Task issues in 6.20

Hi folks, I have a couple of issues, not sure if I should post two
messages but here goes...

SAP_BASIS 620 0063 SAPKB62063
SAP_ABA 620 0063 SAPKA62063

I am in the process of developing a custom workflow. I ran the
RSWF_CATID report to enable ABAP classes in the workflow. Created my
class, methods etc. However I cannot use a class method as a secondary
method in a step (using a decision task). I get a message "Method
'MMMMMMM' not defined for object type 'ZCL_XXXXXXXXZ'. I have used a
class method as a secondary method in ECC 6 with no issues. Are there
any limitations in 6.20?

In the same box, when I select step type Decision while defining a step
in SWDD, the system brings in task TS30000108 (Create WinWord text)
rather than the standard generic decision task TS00008267. However all
the tabs in the step def. are for Decision and If I change the task Id
to the std. decision task, all is well. The client has the exact same
environment in another development box (RSWF_CATID was not run in this
box) and the problem does not exist there. I am at a loss to understand
why the strange behavior is happening. Any ideas?

Best Regards,
Ramki.
