Extended notifications SRM e-mail - removing multiple occurrences of the url link that appear per notification in summary mail

Hi All,
 
I have a further question re. using the Extended notifications config. to populate the EBP URL in the General settings Field: INBOX_LINK_URL - we are currently creating a summary mail of notifications once a day but the e-mail contains the URL link repeated for every notification. 
Does anyone know how to fine-tune this? so that the URL link only appears once per e-mail?

Thanks for your reply, I'll pursue the use of SSO with our Basis team.
I did manage to partially resolve the issue, by extending the EBP URL to include:- sap-system-login-basic_auth=X&sap-client=100&sap-language=EN and this prompted the User to log-in the first time they clicked the URL link in the e-mail, each subsequent link click resulted in them being presented with the main EBP screen (with no log-in required).

Hello Stuart,

 

you should consider to setup a SSO (Single-Sign-On)environment where a separate logon to the SAP Application server is no longer needed, as the user authenticates himself once with the logon to his windows client. 

If you are on a Microsoft (Microsoft Active Directory) Landscape, Kerberos/Spnego is the way to go. For a notes environment SAML is the right approach.

Hi All, 

I've configured an Extended Notifications e-mail to include an URL that links to the EBP front-end - this works fine when one clicks on the link the EBP log-on screen is displayed. However, we have a requirement for the User ID to be automatically populated in the log-on screen and maybe the password, if this is at all possible?

Does anyone know if the above population of the User ID is possible via the SWNCONFIG/SWNADMIN or any other configuration?
