Training Workflow - Help requested

Hello All,
I have activated the training 
Workflow Template - WS01200151 - Approve Employee's Attendance Booking.
The related HR Configurations were made by maintaining the workflow template for the event id and event type etc.
 
However, when a booking attendance for a training, the value of the event id and event type were not populated fully for some reasons. 
 
There is standard task in the workflow template which calls a BAPI & uses these event id and event type value to update database and the attendance. Hence, the attendance is not booked after the approval step.
 
 If any one of you had faced this issue earlier OR due to any other possibilities this is happening, Please share the same.
