Workitems and IC Webclient

Hello Friends,
 
Wrt the same topic i.e. workflows with CRM Web client, can you pls guide as to where can I find the basic information - e.g. how workflows are executed in conjucntion with CRM 2007 / web client?
 
e.g. To elaborate - does it use any other configurations etc similar to the ones required while launching thru' UWL ?

I have a workflow with 2 simpels tasks, the first is a dialog step. I test the workflow and go to my inbox in the CRM webclient and I see task 1. When I execute this task, the status of the workitem in the backend CRM system is directly set to completed, so the workflow continues to step 2. But I want it to continue to step 2 after I ended step 1 (like a 'normal' workflow would).

 

I saw some customizing for "Taskspecific navigation" where I can mark a checkbox for "Application handling" which handles the completion/status. But now there are 2 problems:

1. the method in my task is not executed but a different task (I've read that this is additional customizing but this is complex).

2. in case I have checked the Application handling chekbox, the task will not complete anymore.

 

How can I accomplish that my workflow tasks works the same way in the Webclient as in the GUI?
